Unsubscribe guide
How to unsubscribe from Le Figaro emails
Le Figaro's newsletters multiply per section — actu, éco, culture, chacune sa liste.
The manual way
- 1 · Open a recent Le Figaro email in Gmail and scroll to the very bottom.
- 2 · Click the unsubscribe link in the footer — or Gmail's own Unsubscribe button next to the sender's name, when it shows one.
- 3 · Confirm on their site. Many senders require a second click on their preference page — skipping it cancels nothing.
Le Figaro specifics: Votre compte → Newsletters gère toutes les lettres en une page.
The catch
Unsubscribing one sender at a time works — until the next newsletter, the next order, the next list you land on. The average inbox holds dozens of active subscriptions, and senders can take days to honour a request (or quietly re-add you later).
The one-click way
SweepMyMail scans your Gmail, lists every subscription — Le Figaro included — and cleans each one in a single click: unsubscribe request sent plus a Gmail blocking filter, so future emails skip your inbox even if the sender ignores the request.
- Old Le Figaro emails swept away in the same click
- Receipts and confirmations detected and protected automatically
- Whole inbox cleaned in minutes — we read metadata only, never your email content
