How to unsubscribe from Amazon emails
Amazon mixes order updates with deal alerts, recommendations and Prime promotions — often several per day.
The manual way
- 1 · Open a recent Amazon email in Gmail and scroll to the very bottom.
- 2 · Click the unsubscribe link in the footer — or Gmail's own Unsubscribe button next to the sender's name, when it shows one.
- 3 · Confirm on their site. Many senders require a second click on their preference page — skipping it cancels nothing.
Amazon specifics: Amazon has dozens of separate mailing lists: unsubscribing from one deal alert leaves all the others active. Manage them all at amazon.com → Account → Communication preferences.
