Privacy Policy

Who we are
SweepMyMail ("we", "us") helps you find the newsletters in your Gmail and unsubscribe from or clean them out. This policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we access
When you connect your Google account, we request read-only access to your Gmail metadata and the ability to organise messages (archive, move to Trash) so we can clean your inbox on your behalf. We only read message headers — the sender address, the List-Unsubscribe header, subject, labels, and approximate size. We do not read the body or content of your emails.
What we store
We store sender-level information needed to show your subscriptions and act on them: sender name and address, domain, message counts, last-received date, estimated size, and unsubscribe signals. We never store the content of your emails. Your Google access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and used only to talk to Gmail on your behalf.
How we use it
Solely to provide the service: detect newsletters, display them, and perform the actions you choose (unsubscribe, archive, delete, restore). We use a privacy-friendly, aggregate count of actions to operate the freemium plan.
What we never do
We never read your email content. We never sell, rent, or share your data with data brokers or advertisers. We do not use your Google data to train AI/ML models.
Google API Services — Limited Use
SweepMyMail's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your choices
You can revoke our access at any time from your Google account permissions or by disconnecting Gmail in the app, which deletes your stored connection. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
